THE UNIQ DRYSLOPE TOUR

The UK Dryslope scene is experiencing rapid growth once again, with the level of talent continually on the rise. Most UK facilities are exceptionally welcoming to race teams, reflecting a genuine demand for year-round training. We are fully dedicated to investing our time and efforts into this aspect of Alpine skiing, contributing to the development of the sport within the UK. These camps serve as the platform where we aspire to build a cohesive team of athletes, nurturing their skills with the ultimate goal of transitioning to snow racing.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

UNIQ Snowsports is dedicated to elevating the standard and quality of training accessible to the grassroots of Alpine skiing. Our training camps will offer a minimum of 4 hours on skis, concentrating on honing skills, engaging in purposeful drills, and navigating a variety of course sets. Participants can expect exposure to race timing, Dual Slalom, Pro Slalom, and Combi courses, complemented by comprehensive video analysis for in-depth coaching insights. Certain camps will also feature HealthKix, providing enjoyable fitness and team-building exercises, along with education on the significance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

WHO CAN ATTEND?

All of our UK-based dry slope camps are open to trainees between the ages of U8 and Masters. These camps provide an ideal opportunity to refine race technique and develop fundamental skills. While primarily designed for race coaching, we welcome skiers with limited racing experience, as well as committed snow sport enthusiasts. Our only requirement is that skiers must possess the competence to navigate the ski slope unassisted and in control.

As a club, we are committed to fostering inclusivity in our dry slope camps. Whether you are new to alpine ski racing or a seasoned athlete, if you have ever felt the desire to try, UNIQ Snowsports camps are here to welcome you!

COACHING TEAM

The coaching team for our UK dry slope camps will always feature at least one of our main members of the core coaching team. Occasionally, these experienced coaches will be joined by other highly respected British coaches who hold top coaching qualifications. The names of assistant coaches will be announced closer to the event date. At UNIQ Snowsports, we actively support the development of young coaches within the system. As part of our commitment, we aim to provide them with a valuable experience, allowing them to shadow our seasoned coaches and enhance their own skills.
