UNIQ Snowsports are excited to announce the new partnership with InfiniSki. They are a virtual skiing platform that accurately simulates the feeling of being on an actual ski slope. Once strapped in, the large screen instantly becomes your focus as you use your body to navigate the course, feeling every bump and contour of the slope. Coaches are able to set courses to how they wish, ski an endless slope for endurance and can even ski race pistes such as Sochi, Beaver Creak, and Pyeongchang. It’s also possible to alter the resistance of the machine to emulate snow conditions.
Infini-Ski is suitable for all ranges of ability. Starting with beginners who have yet to set foot on the snow, amateur/hobby skiers or professionals looking to refine their skills out of season - both children and adults. It’s also a great tool as a form of fitness for working the skiing muscles and building the muscle memory prior to hitting the slopes in the mountains! Athletes coming out of injury and physio stages are thoroughly recommended their comeback to skiing starts with this simulator. Skiing uses many little muscles and strains on parts of the body that are used for balance which no other exercises tend to highlight, so returning to skiing using this simulator is a good test to check you are ready to make a successful injury-free return.
Another cool feature is the Skytech Sport App that is linked to the InfiniSki. Athletes can climb leaderboards locally and world wide, challenge their friends and also track progress! Please use the following links to download the app:
