RACE TRAINING FOR ADULTS
UNIQ Snowsports is open to skiers of all ages and abilities, with adults welcome across our dry slope and indoor training camps throughout the year. Whether you’re looking to improve your skiing, experience race training for the first time, or continue developing your racing skills, our sessions provide a supportive and enjoyable environment to learn.
Alongside our regular UK dry slope programme, we also organise dedicated adult training camps at indoor venues in both the UK and Europe. These venues provide consistent snow conditions and excellent training opportunities throughout the off-season, allowing skiers to continue progressing regardless of the weather.
-
Our adult training camps are designed for keen alpine enthusiasts, whether you have a background in ski racing or are completely new to the sport.
Training sessions typically include technical drills, free skiing exercises, gate training, timed runs, and video analysis. Camps generally provide a minimum of four hours on skis each day, giving participants plenty of opportunity to develop their technique, gain confidence in gates, and improve overall skiing performance.
The focus is always on progression, enjoyment, and creating a positive training environment where skiers can challenge themselves whilst learning from experienced coaches.
-
Our camps are suitable for a wide range of skiers, from those looking to experience race training for the very first time through to experienced racers and Masters competitors.
The only requirement is that participants are comfortable skiing independently and can make their way down the slope safely, confidently, and under control.
Groups are often split according to experience level, allowing coaches to tailor training appropriately and ensure everyone gets the most from the session.
As a club, we aim to make alpine ski racing as accessible as possible, so if you’ve ever been curious about trying race training, we’d love to welcome you along.
-
All camps are delivered by qualified and experienced coaches, with group sizes typically limited to a maximum ratio of 7:1.
Depending on the event, coaches may be joined by other highly respected British instructors and race coaches, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the programme.
Specific coaching teams will be confirmed closer to each event.
-
Our adult training programme operates across a range of dry slope, indoor, and mountain venues throughout the year.
